Finally, something for Detroit Piston fans to cheer about this year. Following what looks to be a less-than-inspiring season, a new Jordan Retro VI will arrive inspired by the team’s colors. The Jordan Retro VI “Detroit Pistons” rolls into Foot Locker stores on April 17th.
The Pistons colorway is a recurring theme in Jordan “60+ Retros,” modeled after teams MJ dropped 60 points on during his career. The Pistons Retro VI has a black-based upper of suede and patent leather. Grey, red, and speckled blue combine to form the midsole which sits above a clear and red outsole that features the signature Jordan Jumpman logo in blue. Both the tongue and heel tab are grey with blue accents. The Jumpman logo is seen again on the tongue, in blue, and the heel, in red.
